Another one of the beautiful scenes at the Dallas Arboretum is their Koi pond. The markings on this fellow are the actual spots - a big question mark!! Another park visitor pointed him out to me. It gave me a chuckle, and I hope you enjoy it, too! I call this "InKoiry" - get it?

Beautiful painting! love the textures you've created.
ReplyDeleteCheryl,
ReplyDeleteThe paintings look great I think you will be competing against yourself (LOL) I will be curious to see which one gets first place and which one gets second place.
God Bless.
Sincerely
Paul
Great work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jane, I try to think of creative titles. I love to paint koi (Koinonia, InKoiry), so I'll have to come up with more koi puns.
ReplyDeleteSusan - Isn't it great that we don't live in the strictly smooth wash era of watercolor? Now if an accidental bloom happens here and there, it's a good thing!
Paul - You're kind. I need to find out where you're judging and enter that. :o)
Sandeep - I always appreciate your encouragement since I love your art!
Your koi painting is wonderful!
