National Watercolor Society All-Member Exhibit Acceptance of "Whale Watchin'"
I received the following letter this afternoon: Congratulations! Juror, Mary Addison Hackett, has selected your painting for the 2010 NWS All Member Exhibit. I am beyond grateful to be included in this exhibition.
Hi DVO7, Thanks for commenting on my blog. (remember the doggie?) I am doing a show next month at a garden club in Palo Alto, Ca. Also an iris garden show, an outdoor market and am considering a museum show this summer. (I'm working on floral paintings, but haven't uploaded any yet.) How about you?
Nancy - I forgot that you live in Santa Ana! I plan to come to the reception on May 2nd. Let's "do lunch"! (I suggest Z'Tejas near you! OR my FAVORITE - Stefano's Golden Baked Hams - my daughter-in-law's family restaurant in Yorba Linda! YUM!) Had I told you my son/his wife/his daughter live in Brea?
beautiful painting... it deserves everything... nice technique used for painting the water... i like the reflections of light on the surface... nice composition... congrats...
Wow, what a fantastic painting, and congrats on being accepted into the show.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad this got into the show. I loved it the first time I saw it and now I'll be able to see it in person. I hope it wins a prize.
